Trojan basketball practices will be open to the public

USC basketball coach Kevin O’Neill announced via Twitter the basketball team’s practices will be open to the public.

Team practice begins Oct. 16 at 7 p.m. at Galen Center and will be O’Neill’s first official team practice as the Trojans’ coach. Practices will continue over that weekend — Oct. 17 at 9:30 a.m. and Oct. 18 at 9 a.m.

In the past team practices have been closed, but O’Neill is attempting to build a relationship with the public and build interest in the basketball team.

O’Neill is happy to accept the general viewing public, but insists that visitors to practice must remain “respectful” in order to keep the privileges.
