I think USC definitely may be the best team in the country but its not a guarantee. The fact is we lost whereas Texas, Florida, and Alabama are undefeated and have taken care of business by beating the inferior teams they have played. Also, claiming that USC battles the officials is inaccurate. Almost all of the time, it is USC getting the calls in their favor. I have watched my fair share of USC football games and they tend to get the benefit of the doubt because they are USC. Saturday night against Oregon State, I though the officials missed several pass interference calls against USC and gave USC the benefit of the doubt.
