USC used to = &quot;university of second choice&quot; or &quot;university of spoiled children,&quot; but the envious ones across town also served as an inspiration. You changed USC&#039;s image of a party school that catered to the wealthy and privileged, but now it&#039;s one that attracts the academically competitive and ambitious. I hope your successor lifts up USC even more. Long live &#039;SC!&lt;/p&gt;
