Jean Dujardin is a name you should know and start learning how to pronounce now.
The French actor who stars in The Artist could walk away with an Oscar this year.
Jean Dujardin and George Clooney both walked away winners at the Golden Globes several weeks ago for Best Actor, but the general consensus was that George Clooney would continue his winning streak all the way through the biggest awards show, the Oscars.
Those feelings quickly changed on Sunday, however, when Jean Dujardin won the SAG Award for Best Actor over Hollywoodâs favorite leading man. The Artist star is charming in the black-and-white silent film that is likely to win Best Picture.
George Clooney, who has already won an Oscar for his performance in Syriana, isnât out of the running just yet, but if the SAG Awards are any indication, he certainly has competition.
Since 1994, the actor that has won the SAG Award has gone on to win the corresponding Oscar all but four times.
The plot thickens.

I would love to see the Frenchman get over the ridiculously overrated Clooney–I liked him better on the Golden Girls.
