The Trojans are ranked No. 9 in the latest BCS standings released on Sunday. The Trojans moved up one spot from No. 10 following South Carolina’s 44-11 defeat against the Florida Gators. USC, meanwhile, earned an impressive 50-6 victory over the Pac-12’s last place team, the Colorado Buffaloes.

Two Oregon teams still rank ahead of the Trojans in the standings. The Ducks are in the No. 4 spot, one lower than last week after being leapfrogged by a Kansas State squad that blew out West Virginia, and the Oregon State Beavers remain at No. 7 following their defeat of the Utah Utes, 21-7.

No 17. Stanford, meanwhile, is the fourth Pac-12 team in the BCS standings. They are the second highest rated team with two losses.

In the Associated Press poll, USC also moved up one spot from No. 11 to No. 10. They are No. 8 in the USA Today coaches’ poll, one spot ahead of the undefeated Oregon State Beavers.

The Trojans will have a chance over the coming weeks to improve their standing in the polls, with games against two highly ranked teams—No. 4 Oregon and No. 5 Notre Dame—along with matchups against teams that received votes in the latest AP poll and USA Today coaches’ poll. Those teams are Arizona, Arizona State and UCLA. Both the Arizona and UCLA games will be on the road.
