The following incidents were reported in the USC Dept. of Public Safety incident report summary between Monday, Oct. 21, and Tuesday, Oct. 22. 

Crimes against property

at 9:04 p.m. on Oct. 22, a DPS reported that a volleyball net was stolen from Sigma Nu’s front yard.

at 10:31 a.m. on Oct. 22, DPS reported that a suspect removed a power drill from a vehicle at Cardinal Gardens.

Miscellaneous incidents

at 11:04 a.m. on Oct. 21, DPS officers observed a suspect wandering around Parking Lot  1. The officers checked his name and discovered that he had an outstanding warrant. The suspect was transported for booking.

at 3:52 p.m. on Oct. 21, a student reported that a subject claiming to be part of the United States  Department of Defense left two fake business cards in his mailbox.

at 6:58 p.m. on Oct. 22, a patient at the Keck Hospital of USC reported that her boyfriend punched her and hit her with a TV remote control during her time at the hospital. DPS was unable to locate the patient’s boyfriend.

at 11:02 p.m. on Oct. 22, DPS officers found an intoxicated student in front of Caribbean Apartments. The student was bleeding from the mouth and forehead, but when he regained consciousness could not recall how he was injured. He was transported to the California Hospital for treatment.
