The following incidents were reported in the USC Dept. of Public Safety incident report summary between Monday, Jan. 27, and Tuesday, Jan. 28. 

Crimes against property

At 10:43 A.M. on Jan. 27, a staff member at Keck Hospital of USC reported a department computer missing. The incident occurred on Jan. 19.

Miscellaneous incidents

At 3:28 P.M. on Jan. 27, an infant was transported to Los Angeles County+USC Hospital for medical treatment after he hit his head on the ground when his mother fell while holding him. The incident occurred outside Healthcare Center 1.

At 11:46 P.M. on Jan. 27, officers responded to a student who injured his ankle while playing Frisbee. A Los Angeles Fire Department Rescue Ambulance unit was requested, and the student was transported to California Hospital for medical treatment.

At 1:34 A.M. on Jan. 28, DPS officers responded to a student who had suffered from an allergic reaction from food he had eaten. The student was transported to California Hospital for treatment.

At 2:58 A.M. on Jan. 28, a suspect was found prowling near 37th Place and Catalina Street. DPS officers arrived on the scene and found the suspect to be intoxicated and unable to care for himself. He was then arrested and transported to Metropolitan Detention Center for booking.
