Just one day after Athletic Director Pat Haden announced that interim head coach Clay Helton would take over head coaching duties permanently, five Trojans were named to the All-Pac-12 first team. Sophomore wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster, sophomore cornerback Adoree’ Jackson, junior linebacker Su’a Cravens, redshirt junior offensive tackle Zach Banner and senior defensive tackle Antwaun Woods all received first team honors. Freshman linebacker Cameron Smith was named Pac-12 Defensive Freshman of the Year.

This is Cravens’s second-straight year receiving first team recognition. In addition to making the first team as a defensive back, Jackson also made the second team as a return specialist.

Three more Men of Troy joined Jackson on the All-Pac-12 second team. Senior defensive tackle Delvon Simmons, junior offensive tackle Chad Wheeler and senior fullback Soma Vainuku were all recognized.

Redshirt senior quarterback Cody Kessler and four others received honorable mentions. Kessler, along with junior tailback Justin Davis, freshman tailback Ronald Jones II, sophomore offensive guard Damien Mama and freshman inside linebacker Cameron Smith, earned this honor.

The Trojans will travel to Santa Clara to take on Stanford in the Pac-12 Championship game on Saturday.
