Farewell fountain


The “Finger Fountain” is no more. Renovations at Gavin Herbert Plaza, located at the intersection of Jefferson Boulevard and Trousdale Parkway, have led to the plaza’s central fountain, colloquially known by students as “Finger Fountain,” to be demolished. The statue was thought by many to be a challenging gesture toward rival school UCLA.
