Inglourious Basterds, his most recent film, reportedly took a decade to come to fruition, but t this time the screenplay seems to have “flowed out of him,” Deadline reported.

The Weinstein Company, fresh off their win for Best Picture with The King’s Speech, will reportedly start looking for a production start date when the screenplay is delivered.

Quentin Tarantino has expressed his desires in the past for making a spaghetti Western that deals with American slavery and the recent success of True Grit at the box office shows that audiences seem ready and willing to see those good old American Westerns again.
