Marshall drops three spots in BusinessWeek rankings

USC’s Marshall School of Business dropped three spots in this year’s Bloomberg BusinessWeek standings, taking the 24th spot in top undergraduate business programs nationwide.

The fifth annual ranking surveyed senior business majors and corporate recruiters on a number of points to find the best program. Marshall placed 47th based on the survey of seniors and 34th based on the survey of recruiters.

USC Marshall’s greatest strength, according to BusinessWeek, is job placement services. The school’s median starting salary came in at $55,000, matching No. 1 ranked Notre Dame.

Of other California schools, U.C. Berkeley held onto its sixth place spot, while the University of San Diego and Santa Clara University trailed in 28th and 39th place respectively.
