
Overheated boiler triggers alarm at PED

Firefighters responded to an alarm Wednesday afternoon at the Physical Education Building (PED) after a boiler motor overheated.
According to DPS Capt. David Carlisle, the boiler overheated and began to smoke, which automatically triggered an alarm. Firefighters responded to the scene, as per protocol.
DPS officials were also at PED, helping clear the area of students.
No fire or damages have been reported.
