National Signing Day: Allen commits to USC

Running back Javorius “Buck” Allen will be playing at USC, the recruit announced this morning.

The 6-foot-1, 210-pound Allen is a four-star recruit and No. 12 at his position, according to ESPN. He is No. 148 in the ESPNU150.

Allen was a standout at Lincoln High School in Tallahassee, Fla. His 40 time is listed as 4.4 seconds.

Current Trojans Jawanza Starling and T.J. Bryant also attended Lincoln High.

Allen said being reunited with his old teammates factored into his decision, according to ESPN.

Allen had also been considering Auburn and Alabama. He made an official visit to USC on Jan. 14.
