The following incidents were reported in the USC Dept. of Public Safety incident summary between Thursday, April 19, and Friday, April 20.

Crimes against property

at 12:10 a.m. on April 20, a suspect entered an unsecured dorm room in Fluor Tower and removed an unattended pair of headphones.

at 11:55 p.m. on April 19, a suspect pried open the security screen on a bedroom window at 909 30th St. and began banging on the glass in an attempt to break it. The suspect fled on foot when a student walked into the room to investigate the noise, and the suspect could not be located during a subsequent search of the area.

at 11:17 p.m. on April 19, DPS officers on routine patrol observed an intoxicated student kick a metal trash can into a vehicle that was parked near Phi Gamma Delta fraternity and detained him for investigation. The officers observed no damage to the vehicle and the student was released after being advised that the matter would be referred to Student Judicial Affairs and Community Standards.
