The following incidents were reported in the USC Dept. of Public Safety incident report summary on Saturday, Nov. 3.Â
Crimes against a person
At 1:25 a.m., a non-USC female reported that a suspect punched her in the mouth during a confrontation between her friends and several unidentified people outside Terrace Apartments. DPS officers conducted a search but were unable to locate the suspect.
At 1:19 a.m., a student reported that another student physically assaulted several people inside the Pi Kappa Phi fraternity and cut one of them with a piece of broken glass. The officers detained the suspect and recovered the piece of glass, then arrested him and transported him to 77th station for booking. A student whose finger was cut with the glass was treated by an LAFD RA unit and released.
At 12:48 a.m., a student reported that a security guard pushed her several times while she was leaving a party at the Sigma Delta Tau sorority. She was not injured and did not want criminal prosecution, but requested a report for documentation.
At 12:30 p.m., an intoxicated student damaged the door latch and frame of a portable toilet on Childâ€™s Way and Trousdale Parkway when he became trapped inside and kicked the door open.
At 12:35 a.m., DPS officers responded to a student who cut his head when he hit it on a beer keg while wrestling with his roommates. An LAFD RA unit responded to treat the student and released him to seek additional medical treatment on his own.
