The following incidents were reported in the USC Dept. of Public Safety incident report summary between Friday, Nov. 9, and Sunday, Nov. 11. 

Crimes against property

at 11:23 p.m. on Nov. 11, two suspects spray-painted graffiti on walls and pillars at the University Village.

At 12:16 p.m. on Nov. 9, a suspect cut a hole in the screen on an open kitchen window at 1352 29th Street and climbed through the window. The suspect removed a wallet, speakers, two iPods and a set of vehicle keys, then used the keys to start a resident’s vehicle and drove away in it.

Miscellaneous incidents

at 6:49 p.m. on Nov. 10, DPS officers responded to a student who fell out of a university golf cart while negotiating a turn near the University Parking Center. The student sustained multiple abrasions to her knees and elbows, but she declined medical treatment and was released at the scene. The cart sustained minor damage to the front bumper when it rolled into a gate after the student fell out.

at 12:40 p.m. on Nov. 10, DPS officers responded to a student who sustained a cut when she was struck in the back of the head by a plastic cup that someone threw inside the 901 Bar and Grill. A Los Angeles Fire Department Rescue Ambulance unit treated the student and offered transportation for additional medical treatment, but she declined and was released at the scene.

at 9:03 P.m. on Nov. 9, a student at Parkside International Residence College reported that a photographer who took nude photos of him threatened to distribute the pictures over the Internet after he refused to schedule a second photo shoot.

    This is a particularly good week for Roundup. Packed full of life lessons and interesting stories:

    1) If you wallet and car keys are home, so should you
    2) Women generally can’t drive properly and golf carts are the latest victims to be blamed. Thank God the cart is okay!
    3) Be sure and duck when stuff flies at the 9-0 and yes, plastic cups kill!
    4) Don’t let me photograph you naked and then refuse to party with me again
