USC Best Buddies sells cookies and cupcakes on the corner of University Avenue and Jefferson Boulevard on Wednesday as part of its annual bake sale. Proceeds from the bake sale will help fund Best Buddies, a nonprofit that creates one-on-one relationships and leadership development for people with developmental disabilities.

Students gave chocolate, roses and teddy bears to their significant others to celebrate Valentine’s Day. Americans began exchanging Valentine cards in the 1770s, according to History.com.
