The Back-Up Plan

For better or worse, Jennifer Lopez returns to the big screen this weekend in yet another romantic comedy to add to her lengthy list. Frustrated by her disappointing love life, Zoe (Lopez) chooses the route of artificial insemination. Unfortunately, she meets the man of her dreams (Aussie actor Alex O’Loughlin) right after the procedure.

The Losers

Based on the recent DC Comics and Vertigo comic books of the same name, this all-guns-blazing adaptation depicts an elite Special Forces team out for revenge against a treacherous mastermind working from within the U.S. military. Watchmen’s Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Avatar’s Zoe Saldana highlight a strong cast.

Paper Man

Jeff Daniels plays another failed novelist in Paper Man, a film written and directed by husband and wife pair Kieran and Michele Mulroney. Daniel’s character Richard enjoys the companionship of a neighborhood babysitter (Olivia Stone) and his imaginary friend Captain Excellent (Ryan Reynolds).
