Standout recruit Farmer said to favor USC
A tri-sport athlete — football, basketball and track and field — George Farmer is a talented high school athlete. More importantly to USC however, is that Farmer, a prized football recruit, is heavily favoring the Trojans in his college search.
At 6 feet 2 inches tall and 210 pounds, Farmer is currently a wide receiver for Junipero Serra High School in Gardena, Calif. and despite the recent troubles facing USC — including the postseason ban and decrease in athletic scholarhips — Farmer has reportedly said he is strongly considering the Trojans as an option for next year.
Farmer’s high school football team, the Cavaliers, won the state title last year, going 15-0. As a junior that season, Farmer scored 12 touchdowns and had 41 catches for 891 yards, in addition to running for 116 yards and four touchdowns. He has also played a bit on defense for Serra, making him a viable option as a cornerback in college.
An announcement on his decision is expected in January.
this coud be a recruiting violation. You can’t write stuff about recruits on a school website.
