Blackwell remains firm in USC commitment

While one highly-ranked USC commit, De’Anthony Thomas (Los Angeles) is unsure whether he’ll sign with the Trojans on National Signing Day Wednesday, it appears as if four-star wide receiver Victor Blackwell (Santa Ana, Calif.) remains firm in his verbal commitment to USC, according to the Orange County Register.

Mater Dei High coach Bruce Rollinson told OCVarsity.com Tuesday that Blackwell would indeed sign with USC on Wednesday.

“Most definitely,” Rollinson said.

Because of a medical appointment, however, Blackwell will be unable to attend Mater Dei’s signing day ceremony, the Register said.
