Report: Pomee settles on USC

Four-star wide receiver/tight end Junior Pomee (Moreno Valley, Calif.) has committed to USC, according to Lya Wodraska of the Salt Lake Tribune.

Pomee gave a verbal commitment to the Trojans just days after visiting the University of Utah in Salt Lake City.

“We are glad to finally get it over with,” his father, Kapelieli, told Wodraska Monday night. “Mainly he wanted to stay close to his family.”

Pomee’s decision could likely result in three-star cornerback Ryan Henderson (Moreno Valley, Calif.) signing with USC on National Signing Day, as well. Henderson, a long-time Utah commit and teammate of Polee, had recently said he was split “50-50” between the Utes and Trojans.

Many have speculated, however, that if Polee signs with USC, Henderson will quickly follow suit.
