National Signing Day: Florence says no to USC, signs with Auburn

Valley (Alabama) High safety Erique Florence signed Wednesday with the Auburn Tigers of the SEC. He is ranked as a four-star prospect by Rivals.com and is ranked third at his position and second in the state of Alabama. Florence chose Auburn over Alabama, Florida, Georgia and USC.

His commitment is the 24th in an Auburn class whose ranking appears to be shooting up the boards of recruiting analysts; the successes of the past season are surely helping the recruiting efforts of the Tigers.
