Smell Near Campus Center Not Gas Leak

As students walked near the south side of the Tutor Campus Center, many were concerned that there was a gas leak in the area because of the stong odor. However, after DPS and Hazmat teams investigated the area, they found that there was a research experiment being conducted in Stabler Hall that produced a gas-like smell and that there was no threat of a gas leak.

Smells of gas in the USC area caused students to become concern Thursday.
