Screening teaches students more about our troops

Students have the opportunity to learn more about our troops today at the Leonard Davis Auditorium in the Andrus Gerontology Center. The School of Social Work’s Center for Innovation and Research on Veterans & Military Families will be a screening a new documentary about actor Gary Sinsle and the LT. Dan Band as they journey across the world, including Kuwait and Iraq, to support U.S. troops.

Afterward, Director Jonathon Flora, an award-winning producer with Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment, will be there to answer questions. Flora is a veteran of the U.S. Army’s 82nd Airborne Division, and served twelve years in the military.

Admission is free and the event runs from 7 to 9:30 PM.
