Smiths to star in M. Night Shyamalan movie
The post apocalyptic film “takes place far in the future where a young boy has to navigate an abandoned planet on a space ship that has crashed.”
The father and son duo previously starred alongside each other in The Pursuit of Happyness, in which Will Smith received an Academy Award nomination. Will Smith is currently filming Men in Black III, which is scheduled for release on May 25, 2012.
M. Night Shyamalan’s career has been in a slump in recent years. The Last Airbender was a critical failure and currently holds a 6 perecent rotten rating on the Tomatometer on Rotten Tomatoes. The writer and director was once nominated for two Academy Awards for his inventive work on The Sixth Sense, but to his fans, that film now seems to have come from a different filmmaker.
