Penelope Cruz to work with Woody Allen

Penélope Cruz will reunite with Woody Allen on his upcoming project, which is scheduled to start production this summer in Rome.

In 2009, Penélope Cruz won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress in Vicky Cristina Barcelona under Woody Allen’s direction.

In an exclusive interview with Entertainment Weekly, the actress said, “I know [what I’m doing next], but the thing is that I have to ask the director what I can say and what I cannot say. Because he’s very secretive. It’s…it’s a movie with Woody Allen. But I really cannot say anything about the story or the characters.”

Woody Allen’s Midnight in Paris along with Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, which will star Penélope Cruz, are both scheduled for release on May 20.
