USC began final preperations for Saturday’s contest against Minnesota.

In other news for the Trojans:

  • Senior linebacker Chris Galippo was back on the field with the first team defense.
  • Freshman Marquise Lee received most of the reps at wide receiver, along with Brandon Carswell, across from star Robert Woods.
  • Senior Rhett Ellison displayed excellent hands out of his new fullback position
  • Three running backs will get carries in the game against Minnesota: Curtis McNeal, D.J. Morgan and Dillon Baxter.
  • The scout team wore UCLA colored jerseys today on special teams to get the team motivated.
  • The offensive line finally seems set. Matt Kalil, John Martinez, Khaled Holmes, Jeremy Galten and Kevin Graf will be getting the start against the Golden Gophers.
