Nacosta prepares to release debut EP

An emerging Los Angeles band, Nacosta, is throwing its listeners into a time warp.

Two brothers, Shane and Brandon Graham, are showcasing their love for both the ’60s and the ’90s by combining musical structures from each era. Inspired by icons such as The Beatles, Radiohead and Neil Young, the band merges the styles of each. Maybe it’s the current trend of loving anything remotely vintage, or maybe it’s because Shane likes to experiment with modern jazz and electronic music drum beats.

To add a more eclectic vibe to their music, Nacosta is currently searching for a dedicated keyboardist and a multi-instrumentalist based out of Los Angeles. The Graham brothers are hoping to find someone who can play the mandolin, harmonica, keyboard and guitar. Anyone who thinks they have what it takes to audition can contact them via Facebook.

Nacosta plays regularly at Pehrspace, The Good Hurt, The Stovepipe Lounge and other venues in the Los Angeles area.

The band is excitedly gearing up for its debut EP Wilderness City, to be released Sept. 14, on its very own label, Ancient Conductor Records.
