The following incidents were reported in the USC Dept. of Public Safety incident summary from Monday, Jan. 23.

Crimes against a person

at 10:43 a.m., a staff member reported that her estranged husband has been showing up uninvited at her work place at Charlotte S. & Davre R. Davidson Continuing Education and harassing her. The subject has also been seen inside the parking structure where the staff member parks her vehicle and she believes that he has tampered with it on at least one occasion. The staff member stated that she is in fear for her safety and is seeking a restraining order.

Miscellaneous incidents

at 11:10 a.m., a staff member at the USC Health Consultation Center reported receiving a harassing and disrespectful email from a patient.

at 9:00 a.m., a staff member reported that someone placed a note on her vehicle windshield at the Keck Hospital Parking Building that accused her of hitting the author’s vehicle. The staff member was certain that she had not struck anyone’s vehicle and she observed no damage to her vehicle. The author of the note and his/her vehicle could not be located at the time of the report.

at 6:00 a.m., a staff member reported that a suspect placed sugar in the gas tank while her vehicle was parked at Parking Structure D.
