Guests gather in the Social Science Building for a wine tasting and lecture by Lester Little, an emeritus professor of history and former president of the Medieval Academy of America, on Thursday. The event was sponsored by the USC Center for Religion and Civic Culture.

    [clarification] As an adult alumnus (BA, ’65), I noticed that the ” tasting ” of wine was mentioned, but not the subject or substance of the lecture. Was this a medieval practice? Medieval students would prefer ” drinking ” of wine, rather than ” tasting “.
