Derby Days donates to Children’s Hospital Los Angeles

Performers such as LMFAO, Young the Giant, MGMT, Shiny Toy Guns and Slightly Stoopid were once on the line up for Derby Days, an annual concert geared towards giving back to the community.

This year’s event, which is supported by USC’s Greek life and sponsored by Incipio and Tavik, will be held at the USC McAlister Field on March 31.

An MC and singer from New York, Theophilus London, an Australian DJ duo, Bag Raiders and a blues-rock band, American Royalty will be taking over the Derby Days’ stage.

Tickets are $25 and all proceeds from the night will be donated to Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.

According to the Derby Days website, it has donated almost $200,000 to the hospital since 2002. This money has gone towards funding cancer research and preventative education.

Accompanying the night’s performances will be a beer garden, which opens as soon as doors do at 7 p.m.
