The following incidents were reported in the USC Dept. of Public Safety incident report summary between Tuesday, Sept. 10 and Thursday, Sept. 12.

Crimes against a person

At 2:17 p.m. on Sept. 10, a staff member reported his ex-wife violated a restraining order when she showed up at his office. The staff member did not report the incident to DPS at the time, but filed a report with his local police station.

Crimes against property

At 11:02 A.m. on Sept. 10, officers responded to a female whose vehicle was damaged when an automatic parking gate at Parking Structure B lowered on her rear bumper.

At 4:04 P.m. on Sept. 10, a student’s vehicle was immobilized in the Exposition Boulevard Parking Structure because it displayed a forged USC parking permit. After the student contacted Transportation Service and agreed to pay the fine, the vehicle was released and the matter referred to Judicial Affairs.

at 1:50 p.m. on Sept. 11, a suspect removed a wallet left unattended on the lawn outside of Marks Residence Hall.

Miscellaneous incidents

at 5:20 P.m. on Sept. 11, a student was cited to Judicial Affairs after attempting to use a fake ID at Ralphs Supermarket.

At 5:25 P.M. on Sept. 11, a suspect was reported to be staring at females inside of Doheny Library. He left before DPS arrived and could not be found in a subsequent search of the area.

At 2:00 a.m. on Sept. 12, DPS detained a suspect who was observed riding his bicycle without lights at Bank of America. A check of his name revealed that he had an outstanding warrant. He was arrested and transported to the Metropolitan Detention Center for booking.
