The following incidents were reported in the USC Dept. of Public Safety crime/incident summary between Thursday, Sept. 12 and Saturday, Sept. 14.

Crimes against a person

At 12:48 p.m. on Sept. 14, a juvenile reported receiving an obscene text message from an acquaintance.

At 1:44 p.m. on Sept. 14, a student reported that someone spread shaving cream and smeared lipstick on her property inside her dorm room in Pardee Tower. She believed her roommate was responsible.

Crimes against property

At 5:08 p.m. on Sept. 13, DPS officers responded to a report of water flooding the basement of Lambda Chi Alpha. Upon DPS’ arrival, a student advised the officers that water from a hose had been flowing into the building through a vent for several hours. FMS personnel were requested and responded by cleaning up and conducting repairs.

at 9:15 p.m. on Sept. 13, a student was cited to Judicial Affairs for smoking marijuana in a stairwell at Fluor Tower.

Miscellaneous incidents

at 5:09 p.m. on Sept. 12, a student was cited to Judicial Affairs for possession of a fake ID at Pertusati Bookstore.
