The following incidents were reported in the USC Dept. of Public Safety incident report summary between Wednesday, Sept. 18, and Thursday, Sept. 19. 

Crimes against property

at  1:40  p.m. on Sept. 18, a suspect removed an unattended laptop computer from Leavey Library.

at  2:00  p.m. on Sept. 18, a student used unknown means to enter and remove two laptop computers from the Gayle and Ed Roski Master of Fine Arts Gallery.

at  10:30  p.m. on Sept. 18, a student reported that the handlebars and frame of his bicycle were damaged when it was struck by a vehicle while parked at 2308 Union St.

Miscellaneous incidents

at  12:01  a.m. on Sept. 18, a student reported that she was sexually assaulted at the Lorenzo Apartments.

at 7:45 a.m. on Sept. 18, a suspect removed the rear license plate from a car near the Center for Health Professions.

at  9:20  a.m. on Sept. 18, a student driving her personal vehicle collided with a staff member in a university cart near Parking Structure A, causing minor injuries to both of them.

at  11:55  a.m. on Sept. 18, DPS responded to a report of fire in a trash can on 28th St. and Flower St. and extinguished it with water. LAFD Unit #15 also responded and confirmed that the fire was out.

at  12:00  a.m. on Sept. 19, DPS detained a student at the Human Relations Center, as he was involved in an altercation with another student. Due to his erratic behavior, he was transported to a mental health facility for a psychiatric evaluation.

at  12:01  a.m. on Sept. 19, DPS detained and eventually arrested a student near the Eileen and Kenneth T. Norris Dental Science Center because he was reportedly exposing his penis to a security guard near the location.
