The following incidents were reported in the USC Dept. of Public Safety incident report summary between Wednesday, Nov. 27, and Monday, Dec. 1.

 

Crimes against persons

at 1:00 p.m. on Nov. 30, a manager reported that a suspect ate a meal at Denny’s and fled without paying for it after her credit cards were declined.

at 6:10 p.m. on Nov. 30, an intoxicated non-USC male was arrested for poking a Dept. of Public Safety officer in the face and attempting to strike him with his hands after being denied entry to Traditions at the Ronald Tutor Campus Center.

at 10:25 p.m. on Nov. 30, a student reported that a suspect grabbed her buttocks as she was walking near the Von Kleinsmid Center.

Crimes against property

At 2:00 a.m.  on Nov. 27, a suspect pried then kicked open a door to gain entry to an electrical room in the Seeley G. Mudd Building. It could not be determined if any property was removed at the time of the report.

At 12:01 a.m.  on Dec. 1, a suspect spray painted graffiti on a ceiling beam on the sixth floor of Parking Structure D.

Miscellaneous incidents

at 2:10 P.m. on Nov. 27, DPS officers responded to a report of a terminated staff member barricading herself in her office, but the subject left the premises prior to their arrival. Another staff member stated that the terminated employee may have removed university property from the office, but it could not be confirmed at the time of the report.
