The following incidents were reported in the USC Department of Public Safety crime/incident summary between Friday, April 18 and Monday, April 21.

Crimes against a person

At 5:58 P.M. on April 19, it was reported that a student was sexually assaulted while on 28th Street.

At 7:23 P.M. on April 19, a student reported to DPS that another student punched him in the face when he entered a party at the Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity.

At 1:51 a.M. on April 20, a student reported that another student bit his ear during a disagreement at The Lorenzo. The student was arrested and sent to 77th station for booking. The student reporting the incident was transferred to the Good Samaritan Hospital for medical treatment.

Crimes against property

AT 5:06 P.M. on April 18, it was reported that a suspect had stolen a bag full of cash and checks from an unattended vehicle parked outside the Dollar Dollar store at the University Village.

At 2:22 P.M. on April 19, it was reported that someone had removed a secured bicycle from the Annenberg House.

At 4:42 P.M. on April 20, it was reported that an unidentified suspect entered the West 27th Place Apartments and removed a laptop computer.

Miscellaneous incidents

At 4:44 P.M. on April 18, DPS officers received a report of a non-USC female suffering from chest pain at the Keck Hospital of USC. A Rapid Response team evaluated the patient when officers arrived at the scene and she was released after declining transportation for further treatment.

AT 7:08 P.M. on April 18, DPS officers received a report that a student at Century Apartments had potentially taken an unknown amount of prescription medicine to possibly harm himself. When the officers arrived, the student was conscious, but lethargic. A Responsive Ambulance unit arrived and examined the student before transporting him to the California Hospital for further medical treatment.

At 4:36 A.M. on April 19, DPS officers were notified of a student at Pardee Tower who was vomiting in a restroom. The intoxicated student remained conscious and coherent once officers responded to the report but declined further medical treatment.

At 9:36 A.M. on April 20, a staff member reported that a university key broke in one of the door locks at the Physical Education Building.

at 6:49 P.M. on April 20, DPS officers received a report that a non-USC male injured his knee while playing soccer at the Dean Bartlett Cromwell Field. The male was transported to California Hospital for further treatment after being examined by a Responsive Ambulance unit.

At 9:29 P.m. on April 20, DPS officers received a report of a student with a BB gun in Birnkrant Residence Hall. The student admitted to having five BB guns, a rifle, another gun and a sword in his dorm room. The weapons were confiscated.
