USC Security Roundup
The following incidents were reported in the USC Dept. of Public Safety incident report summary between Friday, Oct. 10, and Saturday, Oct. 11.
Crimes against a person
At 7:25 P.M. on Oct. 11, a non-USC male reported that he observed a suspect break the glass window on a fire extinguisher cabinet inside Parking Structure D. DPS officers were unable to locate the suspect for questioning.
Crimes against property
At 11:54 P.M. on Oct. 10, it was reported that a suspect stole a purse left unattended near a food truck on Adams Boulevard.
Miscellaneous incidents
At 10:17 A.M. on Oct. 10, it was reported that a suspect approached two students at the Von Kleinsmid Center, asked for a pair of scissors, cut off a lock of his hair, gave the hair to the students and walked away.
At 10:38 A.M. on Oct. 10, a student reported that his ex-girlfriend sent him multiple text messages threatening to embarrass him in class.
