The following incidents were reported in the USC Dept. of Public Safety incident report summary between Wednesday, Feb. 4, and Thursday, Feb. 5. 

Crimes against property

at 11:50 p.m. on Feb. 4, a suspect was arrested on suspicion of stealing backpacks at Thomas and Dorothy Leavey Library.

at 3:18 p.m. on Feb. 5, a student reported his bicycle missing at 2215 Toberman St.

at 3:33 p.m. on Feb. 5, a student reported his bicycle missing at Henry Salvatori Computer Science Center.

at 1:45 p.m. on Feb. 5, a staff member reported witnessing a suspect take a bicycle at Jefferson Boulevard and Flower Street.  The staff member notified DPS and the suspect was later arrested for theft.

Miscellaneous incidents

at 10:22 p.m. on Feb. 4, a student was cited for underage drinking at 28th Street and Severance Street.

at 9:05 a.m. on Feb. 5, a female student collided with a pole and reported injuries on her elbow and ankle.

at 10:25 a.m. on Feb. 5, a USC Tram driver reported being involved in a traffic accident outside the USC area.

at 12:05 p.m. on Feb. 5, a student visitor from a middle school fell and injured his left shoulder at Edward L. Doheny Jr. Memorial Library.  The student was then taken to a local hospital.

at 12:44 p.m. on Feb. 5, a student was involved in a four-vehicle traffic accident at Galen Event Center.  No injuries were reported.

at 1:05 p.m. on Feb. 5, a student fell down a flight of stairs at Elvon and Mavel Musick Law Building Center.  The student was later transported to the Engemann Student Health Center.

at 2:03 p.m. on Feb. 5, an unknown person kicked a restroom stall door causing the stall door to hit a student on his forehead at Gwynn Wilson Student Union. The student was later transported to the Engemann Student Health Center.

at 3:40 p.m. on Feb. 5, a patient at Keck Hospital of USC was experiencing breathing problems was taken to an urgent care facility.

at 3:41 p.m. on Feb. 5, a student at Ellendale Trojan Apartments reported that a former friend was threatening to embarrass her on social media if she continued ignoring him.
