The following incidents were reported in the USC Dept. of Public Safety incident report summary between Thursday, Feb. 19, and Friday, Feb. 20. 

Crimes against a person

at 12:12 p.M. on Feb. 19, a female student reported that an unknown male subject grabbed her arm while walking on a public street around Exposition Boulevard and Normandie Avenue. The female broke loose and fled to safety.

Crimes against property

at 8:40 a.m. on Feb. 19, a student reported his bicycle missing at Troy Hall.

at 4:06 P.m. on Feb. 19, an unknown suspect entered a patient’s room and removed currency from a purse at Keck Hospital at USC.

at 4:08 P.m. on Feb. 19, a female student reported the loss of her jewelry on Jan. 19 near Waite Phillips Hall of Education.

at 4:15 p.m. on Feb. 19, a DPS license plate recognition system detected a stolen vehicle around 36th Place and Vermont Avenue With the assistance of LAPD, the driver was detained and arrested.

at 5:27 P.m. on Feb. 19, an unknown suspect entered a room without permission and removed a PlayStation at Lorenzo Apartments.

at 7:27 p.m. on Feb. 19, an unknown suspect removed a male student’s wallet from a table top without permission at Dockweiler Post Office.

at 3:52 a.m. on Feb. 20, an unknown suspect removed a battery from a student’s vehicle around 38th Street and Flower Street.

Miscellaneous incidents

at 8:55 a.m. on Feb. 19, an outpatient fainted and was rushed to urgent care at Healthcare Center 2.
