The following incidents were reported in the USC Dept. of Public Safety incident report summary between Wednesday, Sept. 2, and Thursday, Sept. 3.

Crimes against a person

at 1:11 p.m. on Sept. 2, it was reported that a parking control arm struck a non-USC male in the head. He was later transported to a local hospital for medical treatment.

at 4:01 p.m. on Sept. 2, a patient was reported by a nearby patient for making a threatening statement about a doctor in Healthcare Center 2.

at 6:23 p.m. on Sept. 2, it was reported that a non-USC male and a non-USC female were in a verbal dispute near 1124 Adams Blvd.

at 2:41 a.m. on Sept. 3, it was reported that a student observed a suspect prowling outside her apartment. Officers were quick to respond, but the suspect was nowhere to be found.

Crimes against property

at 9:24 a.m. on Sept. 2, it was reported that a non-USC male caused unspecified damage by driving a truck into a parking bollard.

at 11:07 a.m. on Sept. 2, it was reported that a University tram driven by a staff member had minor damage after a non-USC male driving his personal vehicle collided with it.

at 1:18 p.m. on Sept. 2, it was reported in Birnkrant Residence Hall that a suspect removed a laptop computer.

at 4:21 p.m. on Sept. 2,  a faculty member reported that the rear bumper of his vehicle was damaged while it was parked in Parking Structure D.

at 5:23 p.m. on Sept. 2, it was reported that an unknown suspect removed a bicycle near the Joint Educational Project House.

at 8:06 p.m. on Sept. 2, it was reported that an unknown suspect removed clothing from a laundry room dryer located in Cardinal Gardens.

Miscellaneous incidents

at 10:11 a.m. on Sept. 2, a staff member was reported to be transported to a local hospital for medical treatment after complaining of blurry vision, neck pain and dizziness.

at 6:45 p.m. on Sept. 2, it was reported that a radiation alarm was activated by the contents of a trash bag near the Keck Hospital of USC.

at 7:01 p.m. on Sept. 2, it was reported that a student had a welfare check at Starbucks, and after speaking with an on-call counselor, she was released into the care of a friend.

at 6:08 p.m. on Sept. 2, it was reported that a trespasser was removed from the premises of Gywnn Wilson Student Union and transported to a local shelter.

at 9:36 p.m. on Sept. 2, a student was reported to be transported to a local hospital for a medical treatment following an alcohol overdose.
