The following incidents were reported in the USC Department of Public Safety incident report summary between Wednesday, Sept. 9, and Thursday, Sept. 10.
Crimes against property
at 7:10 a.m. on Sept. 9, it was reported that a bicycle was stolen on 1986 Norwood St.
at 11:30 a.m. on Sept. 9, it was reported that a wallet was stolen at Parkside Apartments.
at 1:04 p.m. on Sept. 9, it was reported that a bicycle was stolen at Webb Tower.
at 2:22 p.m. on Sept. 9, it was reported that a USC parking permit went missing.
at 2:27 p.m. on Sept. 9, it was reported that a bicycle was stolen at the Exposition Boulevard parking structure.
at 3:16 p.m. on Sept. 9, it was reported that a bicycle was stolen at the Physical Education Building.
at 3:37 p.m. on Sept. 9, it was reported that a bicycle was stolen at Webb Tower.
at 4:32 p.m. on Sept. 9, it was reported that a bicycle was stolen at Trojan Residence Hall.
at 6:19 p.m. on Sept. 9, it was reported that a bicycle was stolen at Verna and Peter Dauterive Hall.
at 7:10 p.m. on Sept. 9, it was reported that a cellular phone was stolen at the General William Lyon University Center.
at 11:41 p.m. on Sept. 9, it was reported that there was damage to the front passenger side wheel of a USC vehicle.
at 1:03 a.m. on Sept. 10, a student poured hot sauce into another student’s vehicle at 28th Street and Severance Street.
Miscellaneous incidents
at 10:40 a.m. on Sept. 9, a staff member reported that a parent, after an alleged altercation with his son’s roommate, is requesting a room reassignment for his son at Alpha Epsilon Pi.
at 10:47 a.m. on Sept. 9, a female, non-USC student was examined after injuring her knee and hand during a fall at the Kenneth Norris Jr. Cancer Hospital Research Institute.
at 2:05 p.m. on Sept. 9, it was reported that a couch, which was discarded outside the College Academic Services Building, caught fire.
at 12:16 a.m. on Sept. 10, two fraternities were cited after an altercation between members of two houses at Phi Gamma Delta.
at 4:53 a.m. on Sept. 10, a staff member was trapped in an elevator and needed to be freed by the LAPD at the Ronald Tutor Campus Center.
