The following incidents were reported in the USC Department of Public Safety incident report summary between Friday, Oct. 2 and Monday, Oct. 5. 

Crimes against a person

At 4:03 p.m. on Oct. 2, a student reported that he observed a suspect following him in a vehicle as he rode his skateboard home at 716 30th St. The suspect then attempted to open the front door after the student entered his apartment. When he was unable to gain entry, the suspect left the premises.

At 1:20 a.m. on Oct. 3, a non-USC male reported that a suspect removed his cellular phone as he and a friend were being punched and kicked by multiple suspects who approached them near 37th St. and Catalina St. All of the suspects then fled in a waiting vehicle.

At 12:21 a.m. on Oct. 5, a suspect was arrested for threatening a student and demanding his money outside the USC area.
