Adventuring San Diego: Tips to a [successful] weekend trip

La Jolla in the Mornin’: After grabbing brunch at the Pannikin or Cody’s, bike over to La Jolla’s pristine beaches, such as Windansea and La Jolla Cove. If you start to feel more adventurous, hike to Torrey Pines Gliderport where you can learn to hang glide and paraglide over a phenomenal landscape.

Lunchtime equals authentic Mexican: Skip Chipotle, and try one of these Mexican food hotspots, which should be a part of every agenda. First is Lolita’s, next to San Diego’s Petco Park, with its signature carne asada fries and beloved California burritos. Cinema at Coronado: Whether you take a ferry or drive over the bridge, this beautiful island has not only perfect beaches, but also a great film scene. Attend the Coronado Film Fest , and spend the evening in one of San Diego’s most historic and celebrated hotels, Hotel Del Coronado.
