After multiple sacks and multiple fumbles forced, the Trojans defense have a chance to end the game with 1:46 left on the clock and a fourth-and-17 remaining.
10:56 p.m.
TOUCHDOWN TROJANS.
A punch responded with a punch. Caleb Williams hits Tahj Washington for another USC score and the Trojans have now eclipsed 40 points in all of their games this season, as they lead 42-28 with 7:17 left in the game.
10:47 p.m.
Touchdown Sun Devils.
Cam Skattebo breaks multiple tackles as he scampers into the endzone after a 52-yard rush to tighten the game. Arizona State brings it within one score, as USC now leads 35-28 with 8:05 left in the game.
10:39 p.m.
TOUCHDOWN TROJANS.
Brenden Rice immediately capitalizes on the turnover as he is wide open in the end zone for the USC touchdown. The Trojans go for a 2-point conversion and Mario Williams catches it in the endzone to extend USC’s lead to 35-21 with 10:31 left in the game.
10:37 p.m.
Solomon Byrd strip sacks Drew Pyne and Romello Height recovers the ball for USC. The Trojans will get the ball in plus territory as they look to increase their 27-21 lead.
10:31 p.m.
Eddie Czaplicki punts again as Caleb Williams couldn’t find an open receiver on third down. ASU has the ball back in its own territory, as USC leads 27-21 with 13:27 left in the game.
10:28 p.m.
Bear Alexander with the sack of Drew Pyne on the first play of the fourth quarter, bringing up an ASU fourth down. The Sun Devils punt and Caleb Williams will have the ball in his hands again. USC is still leading 27-21.
10:23 p.m.
End of the third quarter.
USC turns it over on downs in the red zone in the last part of the quarter and Arizona is driving. The Sun Devils have the ball at their own 47-yard line. The Trojans lead 27-21.
10:13 p.m.
Calen Bullock intercepts a Drew Pyne throw to give the ball back to USC, Bullock’s first pick of the year. The Trojans start their drive at the ASU 42-yard line leading 27-21.
10:08 p.m.
FIELD GOAL TROJANS.
The USC offense stalls and Denis Lynch comes in on fourth down and kicks a 36-yard field goal, his second FG of the game. Trojans lead 27-21 with 6:29 left in the third quarter.
10:05 p.m.
Zachariah Branch immediately follows that up with a 36-yard reception to put USC in the red zone.
10:04 p.m.
MarShawn Lloyd with a big carry on the first play of the drive to advance the ball 43 yards and get the Trojans into ASU territory.
10:01 p.m.
After further review, Skattebo crossed the plane of the goal line with the ball. The 2-point conversion is good and USC’s lead is trimmed to 24-21.
9:57 p.m.
Touchdown Sun Devils.
Drew Pyne finds Elijhah Badger in the end zone for a 25-yard Sun Devils score. ASU goes for the 2-point conversion and, on initial signal, the Cam Skattebo rush is no good. The conversion is under further review. As of right now, USC leads 24-19.
9:52 p.m.
FIELD GOAL TROJANS.
Caleb Williams gets sacked on third down to bring up a long field goal for Denis Lynch. The lefty barely gets it over the uprights on a line-drive kick for a 53-yard field goal. USC now leads 24-13.
9:41 p.m.
Trojan defense forces a punt on the first ASU offensive drive of the second half. Caleb Williams and the USC offense will take over the ball.
9:37 p.m.
ASU opens up the second half with the ball on its own 30-yard line. USC leads 21-13.
9:28 p.m.

A lot closer of a game than most people expected as USC leads 21-13.
9:14 p.m.
The Trojans cannot score on their final drive of the half. Eddie Czaplicki punts it into the endzone and ASU will start its drive on the 20-yard line. USC leads 21-13 with 23 seconds left in the first half.
9:04 p.m.
Another ASU trip to the red zone, another hold by the USC defense. The Sun Devils kick a field goal to make it a one possession game. Trojans lead 21-13 with 2:21 left in the half.
Correction: Red zone, not end zone.
8:58 p.m.
Cam Scattebo completes a 25-yard pass to Elijhah Badger on fourth down to keep the Sun Devils drive alive. ASU was lined up in punt formation, but fakes it.
8:51 p.m.
TOUCHDOWN TROJANS .
Caleb Williams sneaks the ball in from the 1-yard-line for his second rushing touchdown of the game. The Trojans now lead the Sun Devils 21-10 with 8:29 left in the second quarter.
MarShawn Lloyd had 26 rushing yards on the series to help move the Trojans towards the end zone. The drive started at the Sun Devils’ 43-yard line after a failed onside kick attempt from ASU.
8:43 p.m.
USC’s defense allows the Sun Devils to drive into the red zone, but stops them there. ASU kicks a 35-yard field goal to cut USC’s lead to 14-10.
8:33 p.m.
End of the first quarter.
Despite multiple miscues in the quarter, the Trojans still lead the Sun Devils 14-7.
8:19 p.m.
TOUCHDOWN TROJANS.
Caleb Williams 43-yard pass complete to Brenden Rice on fourth-and-7 to put the Trojans up by 7 with 1:15 left in the first quarter. This is Rice’s fourth receiving touchdown on the year.
8:19 p.m.
USC avoids disaster. Zachariah Branch fumbles on the kickoff return, but after further review, referees rule Branch was down by contact before the ball came out. USC maintains possession.
8:13 p.m.
Touchdown Sun Devils.
Cam Skattebo takes it in from the 15-yard line for the ASU touchdown on 3rd-and-10. The Sun Devils tie the game up at 7-7 with 6:57 left in the first quarter.
8:10 p.m.
On the first play of the drive, USC has a miscommunication on the handoff between Caleb Williams and MarShawn Lloyd, resulting in a fumble. Arizona State recovers and has the ball at USC’s 15-yard line.
8:07 p.m.
The Trojans force the Sun Devils to go three-and-out on their opening drive of the game. A quarterback hurry from Jamil Muhammad aided the defense in the drive.
7:59 p.m.
TOUCHDOWN TROJANS.
Caleb Williams rolls out to his right and knocks down the front pylon before getting knocked out of bounds for the first touchdown of the game. USC leads 7-0 with 8:46 left in the first quarter.
7:51 p.m.
Back-to-back long rushes from MarShawn Lloyd with the second rush being a gain of 17, putting the Trojans in the red zone.
7:50 p.m.
Caleb Williams 23-yard pass complete to Zachariah Branch to continue the drive on third-and-long.
7:43 p.m.
USC lost the coin toss and Arizona State has elected to defer. USC will receive the first half kickoff.
7:14 p.m.
