THE WEEKLY FRAME — WEEK 6

Focus

Photos by BRYCE DECHERT, MELISSA GRIMALDO & SHRUTI SHAKTHIVEL

Seen through a photographic lens, the word focus often refers to the distance a subject is from the camera in relation to the other objects in the frame. This week, our staff photographers, Shruti Shakthivel, Bryce Dechert and Melissa Grimaldo, were asked to dig deeper and see the intrinsic meanings that follow the word focus. Whether it’s capturing the focus of a student hard at work or focusing on our own USC emblem, we aimed to reshift our focus to pay attention to the ignored details of everyday life.
