The main stage commencement ceremony is canceled, the University announced Thursday.

The announcement also introduced a number of safety measures that will be implemented as attendees join the remaining satellite commencements and miscellaneous ceremonies, including requiring students and their guests to obtain tickets before being allowed on campus.

“Graduating students will be able to reserve, free of charge, tickets for themselves and up to eight named guests,” the announcement read. “Tickets will not be transferrable. There will be an appeal process if more tickets are needed. We will begin reserving tickets early next week.”

Attendees will also be screened prior to entry, and there will be a clear bag policy.
