Senior Vice President of Human Resources Felicia Washington will leave the position at the end of August, President Carol Folt wrote in a statement June 14.

Joining the University in 2019, Washington served as the first-ever senior vice president of HR. She oversaw the University’s Title IX programs following the scandal involving George Tyndall, the ex-USC gynecologist who was charged with sexually assaulting patients.

“She is an incredible national leader, a valued colleague, and a highly respected advocate for building a culture of excellence across the university,” Folt wrote.

No replacement has been named, but Folt wrote Washington “created a strong team that is ready to lead a seamless transition.”

Washington will join the University of Pennsylvania as vice president of human resources.
