    Marks has it in his hands on a fourth-and-2 play, but he gets popped to jar the ball loose. Maryland will take home the win, 29-28. Devastation from the Trojans, who were leading by 14 points at the half.

    USC is in Maryland territory with less than 30 seconds left. The Trojans only need a field goal to take the lead.

    Edwards Jr. just reignited SECU Stadium. He keeps it himself from the three-yard line and the Terrapins take the lead off of the PAT, 29-28.

    The Trojans will get the ball back with 53 seconds left to try and avoid yet another second-half collapse.

    Lantz gets blocked on his 41-yard field goal attempt, and the Terrapins take possession. Maryland has a chance to win it, down 28-22 with under two minutes left in the game and will have it at USC’s 47-yard line. This is Lantz’s second missed field goal.

    USC finds a way to get the stop. Ramsey gets the sack on fourth down well into the Maryland backfield and sets up the Trojans at the 33-yard line up 28-22 with 2:56 left in the game.

    The Trojans eke into Maryland territory, but the movement stops there. USC punts on fourth and 5 and the Trojans down it at the Maryland two-yard line. The Terrapins trail 28-22 with 6:37 left in the game.

    One-score game. Maryland redshirt junior running back Roman Hemby puts the Terrapins closer to securing an upset after a 10-yard run. After a successful two-point conversion, it’s 28-22 with a little more than 10 minutes to play.

    The Terrapins pick up their second fourth-down conversion of the drive. Right after Ramsey made a strong play, the redshirt sophomore missed a tackle that would have put Maryland short of the sticks and given USC possession. The Terrapins will line up in the red zone.

    Redshirt sophomore safety Kamari Ramsey with a BIG pass break-up to bring up fourth and five. Maryland’s offense will remain on the field at the 24-yard line.

    Robinson puts the Trojan lead back up to two scores. The sophomore does great work after the catch, carrying a couple of defenders into the end zone to close out the 26-yard catch and run. USC up 28-14 with 13:31 left in this matchup.

    The Trojans have put together a good drive to close out the third quarter. USC will start the fourth quarter up 21-14 and at the Maryland 43-yard line. The Trojans had a disastrous third frame, all things considered, but the lead remains intact.

    Interception in the end zone! Senior cornerback Jaylin Smith makes a great play on fourth down to salvage the lead for the Trojans. A potential momentum shifter, the Trojans will get the ball back at their 20-yard line up 21-14 with 2:51 left in the third.

    Maryland is knocking on the door of a tie ball game. The Terrapins run it to the USC 11-yard line. The Trojans will have to lock in to avoid another second-half collapse.

    The Trojans are forced to punt away, and the Terrapins have a solid field position to potentially tie this one up. Maryland will have it at its own 34-yard line, trailing 21-14 with 6:51 left in the third quarter.

    Moss gets pressured and forced a throw off his back foot, tossing it toward Zachariah Branch, but gets picked off by redshirt sophomore defensive back Lavain Scruggs, who returns it to the USC 18-yard line. Trojans still lead, but that was a missed opportunity to start to put the game away.

    The Terrapins take a big risk on offense, and USC stuffs them. In Trojan territory, Maryland goes for it on fourth down and can’t convert as redshirt sophomore defensive tackle Devan Thompkins and Mascarenas-Arnold combine for the tackle. USC gets the ball back for its first drive of the second half, already leading 21-7 with 11:47 remaining in the third.

    Sophomore wide receivers Lemon, Lane and Branch were the stars of the first half. The trio combined for 10 of USC’s 19 receptions and went for 136 of the Trojans’ 196 receiving yards in the first half.

    The Trojans will take a 21-7 lead into halftime. USC looked strong in all facets of the game in the first half after somewhat of a slow offensive start. This one is far from over, though, as the Trojans had a 14-point lead last week against Penn State and ended up losing in overtime.

    After two quick chunk plays by the Terrapins that got them within field goal range, redshirt senior defensive end Solomon Tuliaupupu recovered a high snap that was mishandled by Edwards.

    Zachariah Branch puts USC in a good position with 1:09 left in the half after a 19-yard return, and illegal hands to the face puts the Trojans even further up the field at the Maryland 41-yard line.

    USC’s drive stalled out, leading to a punt. After a booming kick, Maryland punt returner senior wide receiver Tai Felton allowed the ball to bounce and ran forward for 17 yards to their 27-yard line.

    The Trojans are moving backward. Now at the two-minute timeout, USC has a third-and-15 play upcoming on its own 44-yard line.

    The Terrapins attempted a long field goal, but it goes wide right. USC’s remains 14-7 and the Trojans get the ball back at their 34-yard line with 3:03 left in the half.

    Bend, don’t break. The Trojans put pressure on Maryland and stop the Terrapins on thrid down to force a fourth-and-11 play. Maryland just called a timeout and decision time is upcoming. The Terrapins have it at USC’s 34-yard line, which sets up a 52-yard field goal.

    The Terrapins convert on a fourth-down QB sneak and the drive continues at the Maryland 35-yard line. Just over five minutes remain in the half and the Trojans lead 14-7.

    Another great grab for the Terrapins puts Maryland on the board. Junior wide receiver Octavian Smith Jr. jumps up and catches it over redshirt sophomore safety Zion Branch for the score, but the play is currently under review to see if Smith Jr. was in bounds.

    Maryland has a highlight grab of its own. Senior wide receiver Kaden Prather goes up to get it and brings down a 33-yard reception to put the Terrapins in USC territory.

    Redshirt junior wide receiver Kyron Hudson closes out the first quarter with a BANG, hauling in a 22-yard pass from Moss. Hudson adds yet another grab to his list of highlights on the season. Trojans lead 7-0 heading into the second frame.

    After another third-down pass breakup on Robinson, the Trojans walked out for a 52-yard field goal and redshirt senior kicker Michael Lantz pushed it wide left. But after a flag on Maryland on the kick, USC was able to go for it on fourth on two. Redshirt junior tight end Lake McRee got eight yards for the first down.

    The sophomore wide receivers are lighting up the stat sheet. Lemon and Ja’Kobi Lane go back-to-back on receptions for 35 yards.

    The USC defense stifled Maryland on the second consecutive drive, forcing a three-and-out. Another fair catch from Branch has the Trojans starting their third drive at their 21-yard line

    Despite a sack early in the drive, the Trojans were on the move, but the drive stalled just past their own 30-yard line. Sophomore wide receiver Duce Robinson had a chance to get them in Maryland territory on third down, but a strong defensive play forces USC to punt it back to the Terrapins.

    Sophomore wide receiver Makai Lemon has three receptions for 28 yards so far for USC. Only 5:43 remains in the first quarter and it is still scoreless at SECU Stadium.

    Despite a 12-yard gain on third down, the Terrapins are forced to punt back to USC. Branch calls for a fair catch and the Trojans will get the ball back at their own 11-yard line with 9:39 in the first quarter.

    Senior linebacker Easton Mascarenas-Arnold notches the first sack of the game for the Trojans. USC has done a good job of getting pressure on Maryland, but Mascarenas-Arnold was the first to be able to finish off the hit.

    After two first downs, the drive stalled out for USC and will punt the ball away to Maryland. On third and 13, Moss had free rushers coming at him and, while on the run, just threw the ball away. The Terrapins will start their first drive at their own 7-yard line

    The Trojans move into Maryland territory off of a reception from sophomore wide receiver Zachariah Branch. USC is using the short-pass game to make its way up the field this first drive.
