Unofficial Icons of USC

Photos by JAKE BERG & TEO GONZALES

During midterm season, it’s difficult to find the time to appreciate the little things that make USC a place we love. Rushing between exams, we forget to watch the squirrels in Founder’s Park, treat ourselves to a blueberry matcha at Cafe Dulce or take in the new fall scents at Trader Joe’s. To remedy this, we took to campus to document USC’s unofficial icons that are integral to our college experience. Staff photographers Jake Berg and Teo Gonzales scoured every inch of University Park for frames to brighten your day. So whether you’re trying to beat the Marshall School of Business curve, slog through o-chem, stay awake in the studio or anything else, make sure to take a moment to feed the squirrels, grab that matcha and snag some pumpkin-flavored TJ’s snacks. There is light at the end of the tunnel!
