Update as of Jan. 9, 7:14 p.m.: The Spring 2025 semester will begin Jan. 13 with in-person classes as planned, despite the active fires in Los Angeles, the Office of the President wrote in a University-wide email Thursday night.

University Park Campus is south of the multiple active fires. The air quality at UPC was “moderate,” while the air quality was “unhealthy” at Health Science Campus at the time of publication, according to the University’s Environmental Health & Safety website.
